Emma Weller is a German American actor and creator based in NYC. Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, Emma graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts Performance & Minor in Dance from Boston University School of Theatre.

Since graduating in 2024, Emma has originated roles in 5 new plays. In December, she originated the Woman 1 track in Sheets by Nic Parker in the Upper West Side, NYC. She has filmed projects across the country. Most recently, a supporting role in indie feature Sleep With Me by French director Kook Ewo and a leading role in Chasing Sunshine, a SCAD thesis film now on the festival circuit.

As a creator, she writes, directs, choreographs, and provides intimacy coordination. Emma’s thesis film The Fairy House that she wrote, directed, and starred in completed a successful festival run, winning Best Cinematography, Best Student Film, and Outstanding Screenwriting Awards.

As a movement artist, she performs and choreographs for herself and others. Emma has returned to Boston University to choreograph for 4 shows in their BFA production season, and spent 7 weeks as a Substitute Professor for the first-year Movement course.

Emma’s mission is to craft stories and performances that inspire deep listening and presence with the world around us.
